FHE at the Park

A couple weeks ago we decided to do FHE at one of the parks. The boys were pretty excited about it. In fact they were so excited to be doing at the park, they had a hard time concentrating on the lesson. Lesson learned for us, if we are going to do FHE at a park, do the lesson at home!

We had our little lesson then a quick "game" of kickball. Winston was more interested in the big toys then in playing our game, but he did run the bases a few times. Just a few pictures of the boys during the lesson. Oh and I like how all the boys are in red shirts...not planned, it just happened.
Winston with his tongue out. He usually sticks his tongue out like this when he crosses his eyes. I've got to get a picture of his crossed eyes, it's so funny.
 Oh Quinnie. He's adorable!
Malcolm is looking too grown up, it breaks my heart!
I was taking pictures with the camera just sitting on the table. Looks like the boys are really getting into the lesson.
I just love this sweet face on my sweet boy. My baby boy! He's still a baby right!? I convince him to let me hold him like a baby almost daily, then I'll just rock him and kiss his cute face. :)
Just an action shot of Mack showing his kickball skills. He thinks he's pretty cool stuff most of the time, which he is of course!

Institute Easter Party

WesternU's institute put on an Easter BBQ and egg hunt. We were good and went out to socialize at it. We were the first to arrive, besides one single guy who put it together. Gotta love mormon standard time! The kids had lots of fun playing and it was great getting some grub!
Winston enjoying the swing. He loves for me to make him go high, well as high as I'll let him go.
 Winston playing some soccer.
Some guy started a little baseball game. The big boys jumped right at the chance to play. Quinn waiting for the pitch.
Malcolm's turn, or maybe he already hit.
 Quinn on first base.
There was this tree that was really sideways and east to climb. Matt put Winston in it, and he was a little scared. This is his scared, embarrassed face.
Now he doesn't seem so scared.
 My sweet and handsome Quinnie!
Yes please, I will take this one day!
The little Easter egghunt, I got a couple pictures of Winston, and by that time, the other boys had already found their like 6 egg limit! Haha!
Malcolm with his assortment of eggs.
Quinn, who looks a little concerned or something with those eyebrows.
Winston enjoying his candy with his strawberry pop mustache.

Malcolm and all his big boy teeth! :(

A Park Day

One beautiful early March day, we took the boys to a park we hadn't been to yet. It's my favorite park now, as not many people don't go there, there isn't sand but instead the soft flooring and it has a basketball court and a tennis court. Just a great park. My camera had been in hibernation, and I needed to take some pictures. Though I didn't get much, it was enjoyable to take a few shots. I miss taking way too many pictures of nothing at all, but just getting to play with my camera. What happened to me! :)

I love my boys! They are too cute and too sweet...most of the time.

Santa Monica Pier

Quinn got to stay an extra week in Moses after Christmas and he got to fly on a big airplane with GraMimi back home to us. Mom was able to stay a few days here, and it was so fun having her here even though we'd just spent two weeks with her. I love my Mommy! I wish she could come visit all of the time.

One of the days we decided to go check out the Santa Monica Pier. It was fun and a beautiful day which made for an enjoyable time. We just walked around and watched the people all around. There was tons of people working out there, which was funny. I went wild and took tons of pictures, since it was such a great day.

We first checked out the Santa Monica Aquarium which was very teeny tiny, but the kids still enjoyed.
Love Malcolm's face in this first picture. The fish would come out and sometimes even spit at you.
My boys are freaked out by yucky stuff, and I was rather surprised that Quinn was willing to touch the starfish.
Love Winston's expression in the first picture, he is so funny. He's putting on a puppet show for us with a little sting ray.
Just loved all these colorful buildings outside on the little beach walking strip.
I also rather love all the bikes for whatever reason.
There was a park in the sand and the boys enjoyed playing in the warm sun and getting sand between their toes.
They are loving digging everywhere.
Winston doing the beam sideways.
They loved the swings.
Winston loved to fly.
Quinn enjoyed burying himself in the sand getting a little carried away and throwing it up in his face, and into his mouth.
My favorite picture, Matt and Winston showing off their guns with the Pier behind them.
Daughter and Mother. My mother is beautiful and I love her dearly!
Just some fun shots I took walking down the little walk.
The other boys sat in the stroller most of the time, and Quinn was out doing tricks everywhere, running ahead and being Quinn
Santa Monica Pier
There was several volleyball games going with girls just in their swimsuits, which I didn't think it was warm enough for that.
We just took a little stroll down the pier, which was freezing since it was out over the water and the wind was blowing up there. Winston was freezing and so he cuddled in with daddy.
The Pier was just full of some little shops, places to eat and carnival rides. Nothing that was too exciting for me, so we just walked around it and were done. I liked these pictures I got of the rides, I think I just like the colors in them.
Just had to post this pic of Mom and I laying down on her air matress and I look down and we are doing the same thing with our feet. It just made us laugh. Don't mind my naked toes, as I'd just taken off my polish and hadn't redone them. When I asked Quinn whose fee they were, he said GraMimi's and Poppy's. Haha! I guess I have man feet.

Jayni's Day

Jayni's birthday is the end of June, and since we were around, the boys and I decided to go and celebrate with her. Mom, Leisha and Emma were on their way down too, so we all rode together. Jayni, Brianne and Mom were all going to get manicures, so Leisha and I stayed with all the kids at a little park with some fun water fountains. The kids all loved it, besides Winston, he would go near it, he's just taking it all in.
Apparently my kids need to eat more. The look like skin and bones in this picture. But still so cute!
So opposite of Winston. Emma LOVED the water. Leisha was worried she was going to have to get wet rescuing her, but she did really good.
Emma is so darn cute, I could keep her!
I love action shots.
Mason really liked it when I would take his picture.
Leisha comforting Emma after falling off the play toy.
I love when I can freeze the water, I think it looks so cool!
Jayni showing off her cute painted nails. Happy Birthday beautiful Jayni! I love you!!
Gramimi and the birthday girl. So cute!
Like mother, like daughter, so beautiful.

Mason wanted a picture with Gramimi too, and then he doesn't even smile. Don't I have a beautiful Mother though!
After the playing and manicures, it was present time. Then we hit Toys r'us, where she got even more presents. Oh and we also had to get some Sonics before heading out of town.
