Just Hanging with the Boys

Saturday morning I had a Stake Women's conference. There were many great speakers and "classes". I left feeling very uplifted.

While I was having some time with women, Matt and the boys had time to hang out together. They went to the Science Center again, and Matt took the camera with him. He took some really great shots.
Quinn being himself...silly. I think this is soo cute. I do need to edit it so his face isn't so dark.

Malcolm doing what he loves best...playing on a computer. It's a good thing we don't let him do it very often. He gets soooo drawn in.

I've been wanting to get a shot with the mirrors ever since I started going. Matt ended up getting a whole bunch. Way to go Matt!!

I love my boys...all of them. Matt is such a great father who loves to play with his kids. The boys are just so stinking cute, how can you resist them!?!

On Saturday night our great friends Mandy and George offered to watch our kids so that we could go on our "last date" before the baby is born. This was actually the first time we've ever gone on a date here in Pullman, let alone have someone other then family watch our kids while on a date. The boys did great and didn't even care that we were gone. Quinn was even comfortable enough with Mandy that he crawled up to her table and asked for a pancake. Luckily she had some frozen ones. Silly kid, even though we fed him before going over there, he still wants pancakes. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner without kids at our favorite restaurant here, Sangria Grill. We would have hit a movie too, but nothing exciting was playing. Thanks so much Mandy and George. You guys are great friends.

Malcolm's Best Friend

I don't know when a child knows about best friends, but this is Georgey and Malcolm says he's his best friend. He is so cute with his blond curly hair and glasses. Malcolm and him have lots of fun together. They get along great.Malcolm and Georgey are listening to the teacher at the science center. It was egg week and they got to dye eggs. They have a room with learning video and a computer with learning games. They were taking turns playing a game.Georgey wanted to be a "teacher". He told Malcolm that he was a bad teacher because he kept talking. Then he told Mandy (his Mom) and I that we were bad students because we were talking too. He's so funny.Well here's some pictures of Quinnie at the Science Center this week. They have this station were you sit on the chair and spin and use the tire to turn you the opposite way. Well Quinn thought that he had to try it. So cute!Quinn looking at himself in the mirror. I was really wanting to get a picture of just his reflection, but he wouldn't cooperate.

The Science Boys

We are very lucky and have a Science Center here in Pullman. The boys love it! We go usually on Fridays when they have a little Pre-K class. Today they learned about static electricity.

One of Mack's favorite things at the science center are the dinosaurs.Quinn "learning" about the color red.
They have a dinosaur bone dig. They are actually digging in lentils. We try and bury the bones and then they use paint brushes to wipe of the lentils and discover them.Malcolm "reading" about beetles. I was trying to get a picture of the boys sitting together...but Quinn was afraid of the beetles. Quinn checking himself out in the mirrors..The boys playing with there reflections and lights...it's a cool little experiment...but the boys don't play by the rules.
